Here are a few updates, reminders, and other tidbits: * Please feel free to share your own articles, papers, and other original content as you feel appropriate. I try to follow articles published by the Mifnet community, but as with others, I'm certain that we miss much. Some Mifnet members publish more material than can realistically be shared here, but anything you're willing to share is gratefully accepted. * There is no practical limit to the size of Mifnet posts. The system will automatically process any post up to around 4mb. Beyond that, it asks me to approve the post. While I'll approve many beyond that limit, if I go too far bounces will be created, owing to limits on the size of messages imposed by the various email systems. That's why you will occasionally see me convert a large attachment to a link to the content. This is not a problem, simply a precaution I take to keep Mifnet flowing. If you have a very large file to share (such as a video, for example), please contact me off list and I'll make arrangements to upload it and provide a link. * You should never have a post rejected or bounced by the system. If this ever happens, please remember to forward the bounce message to me off list so that I can investigate, as this is a bug. * As we've previously discussed, the Mifnet community continues to dwindle, as members retire or change their jobs or email addresses, or regrettably pass on. Please remember to update your email address if it will be changing. You can send me a note off list and I'll take care of this for you. Also, please consider inviting friends who may be interested in the Mifnet community discussions. They are welcome if they have a general interest in aviation and understand the volume of messages Mifnet produces and the Mifnet policies which are attached to each post the list processes. * Remember that, if volume becomes an issue for you, there is a digest version of the list that consolidates traffic into 1-3 messages per day.
