I have two copies of The Sporty Game (one signed to me by the author).  In 2007 
I wrote a review of Newhouse’s sequel “Boeing Versus Airbus” that was published 
int eh ABA’s Air and Space Lawyer publication.  I ended up getting to have 
lunch with the Mr. Newhouse himself, arranged by Susan Walsh from P&W’s DC 
office.  I tried to push him to do a story about the United Airlines bankruptcy 
and reorganization, which was so rich in very recent history and issues.  I 
told him I remembered riding his history of SALT in am arms control class at 
Wooster; a great story,

What a trip that was; the next day I was sworn into the Supreme Court of the 
United States.  

BTW I bought a book from Thrift Books a few months ago (a used paperback).  It 
arrived with 30 pages missing.  Just sayin’...
