Burger trivia item: Way back when—until Heinz finally gave in, way before
In-n-Out—what we now call ketchup was known as “catsup.”

In some households, ketchup is controversial:

Jack,

"Pickle in the middle with the mustard on top..." Can't remember what song that
phrase belongs to,

but it must be from the 1930s or '40s. I'm with you on the pickle, but will
always go with ketchup on my burger.

Mustard -- and relish -- are for hot dogs, ideally charcoal-cooked.

Dan Solon - In N Outs HDQ move to Tennessee just makes me want to switch to
Fatburger, which I'll do.

To involve airlines, many, many times LAX and its airlines have tried to get an
In N Out stand on-airport to no avail

Don't forget though, In N Out is the site of the annual Dorkfest

Finally - please consider adding a pickle to your meal

Alert for J. Keady and fellow LAX-viewers: NYT's California Today report says
the current CEO, granddaughter of the founder, will move to Tennessee. Is
nothing sacred any more? She claims it has to do with affordable living,
raising children, etc. A skeptic is quoted as pointing out that Tenn. has no
state income tax.

Daniel Solon

Make mine simple -- just the burger and a tomato slice -- hold the cheese.
