I would agree with Randy’s reply, but I would emphasize his final bullet (Pedro
and his team). And I would add a fabulous location between North and South
America that they have exploited extremely well with those narrowbodies.

Combination of things….

 - a mix of 738-7, 737-8, 738-8 MAX, 737-900 MAX, but relatively one fleet type

 - CM serves a lot of smallish uncontested airports in South America

 - a well run airline by a solid management team

cancellations climbing to 58,239—a 5% increase from May. The impact hit North
America hardest with a 42% increase, followed by Europe (30%) and Latin America
(21%). The Middle East and Africa delivered a major operational success,
decreasing flight cancellations by a massive 70%, while Asia-Pacific held
steady with a 2% decrease.

Here is a snapshot of July’s top performers across all categories:

•

Global: Carriers from Latin America and the Middle East dominated the global
airlines category. Aeromexico emerged as the new global leader with an OTP of
89.81%. Azul, Saudia, Qatar Airways and LATAM Airlines also secured positions.

•

North America: Delta Air Lines returned to the top spot, leading the region
with an OTP of 76.97%.

•

Asia-Pacific: IndiGo emerged as the new leader after improving its OTP by
almost 6 points.

•

Europe: Icelandair maintained its position as regional leader despite a
decrease in OTP of more than 4 points.

•

Latin America: Copa Airlines reclaimed the top spot with an OTP of 90.11%.

•

Middle East & Africa: Royal Jordanian is the new regional leader with an
improvement in OTP of nearly 12 points.

•

Airport Categories:

â—‹

of 92.35%.

â—‹

Medium Airports: Tocumen International Airport is the new frontrunner for this
category.
