The lav need to be behind the barrier so that the pilots can use the lav.
That’s a primary scenario the barrier is designed to protect.

the barrier examples i've seen isolated the cockpit AND galley. If so, it
appears the f/c lav is also put out of bounds. True?

Warner Bros. Discovery reveals the value of time-tested
favorites<https://runwaygirlnetwork.us7.list-manage.com/track/click?u=bd026a5d1608810a2777427e8&id=4b49985814&e=759749018a>

When Warner Bros. Discovery looked at how people spent their time with
entertainment over the last year, it found that some of the most watched movies
and series were older classic titles.

“Our data shows us that time-tested content is an impactful necessity for just
about everyone who enjoys great content. In fact, it's actually a common
connector across all generations,” Warner Bros. Discovery senior vice president
content sales, IFE and syndication Esdra Lamy tells Runway Girl Network.

Streaming platforms’ algorithms have “literally blurred the lines between what
will be considered classic and new,” Lamy said. Social media is also playing a
role. “TikTok is forcing airlines to put movies back on airplanes."

This data is deeply relevant to airlines as they consider what content to show
as inflight entertainment to passengers, and prepare to meet with studios at
this week's APEX Global EXPO in Long Beach.

Southwest Airlines shows its LUV with free inflight
Wi-Fi<https://runwaygirlnetwork.us7.list-manage.com/track/click?u=bd026a5d1608810a2777427e8&id=770a72601f&e=759749018a>

Southwest Airlines last year vowed to bring free inflight Wi-Fi to its
passengers. Now, the Dallas-based heavy-hitter is making good on that
commitment via a sponsorship arrangement with T-Mobile.

Beginning 24 October, Southwest will offer free unlimited Wi-Fi for all Rapid
Rewards members. The airline's two IFC providers, Anuvu and Viasat, are
celebrating the news. Like Southwest, they have been putting the building
blocks in place to prepare for this moment.

flyadeal CEO on why IPSBs are likely to become

Steven Greenway, the CEO of Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier flyadeal is paying
close attention to the rollout of retractable secondary cockpit barriers in the
United States, and anticipates the security feature will ultimately become
standard equipment on aircraft. As such, he reckons industry will need to
develop standards for the hardware.

The Jeddah-based carrier is “absolutely” looking at whether to bring Installed
Physical Secondary Barrier (IPSB) equipment to its Airbus fleet, Greenway said
during a recent in-depth interview with Runway Girl Network.
