Thanks for sharing this great clip. Igor Sikorsky was a scientific genius of the first order and made essential contributions to aviation, in addition to pioneering the helicopter, that are largely forgotten and underappreciated. He deserves a better and more insightful biography than those that now exist. His 1938 autobiography is well-written and very informative. It’s available from eBook-sellers for $1.00 in its original form (he revised and updated it in a now fairly expensive 1967 edition). I recall reading somewhere that Igor had made number 15 of someone’s top 50 aviation pioneers. My personal list would be admittedly more eclectic, but I’d put him in the top five.
