I loathe these political opinion pieces on an aviation group chat. But I feel compelled to weigh in. One could argue his departure is all about Trump, 1st amendment, and “democracy”. I take another view. Everyone is entitled to free speech, including Kimmel, his supporters, and his detractors. But Disney is not required to finance a money loser. Follow the money. If his show was a financial boon for Disney, it would remain on the air. It is not. So Kimmel joins Colbert on the unemployment line.
