I invited Courtney to join Mifnet last week. I'll follow-up this week. I've been forwarding him the comments and recommendations that have been posted.
The general practice as to inviting new members to the list is that anyone may suggest that someone be included. The only prerequisite is that suggested members have some interest in aviation and that they are aware of the Mifnet few policies--0these are listed on the page those interested in participating are directed to from the Mifnet web site: (https://lists.mifnet.com/postorius/lists/mifnet.lists.mifnet.com/). Suggested members should also be aware that Mifnet can be what they would consider a very high traffic list. I should add that everyone is strongly encouraged to invite their friends and associates to give Mifnet a try. We do get the occasional individual who will happen across Mifnet and request to join on their own. I typically trade notes with such inquiries and most find their way into the community. Mifnet is somewhat of an acquired taste. It differs from other mailing lists and sundry forums, chats, and the like in that there is a "personality" reflected by the Mifnet community. It's hard to describe but you may know what I mean.
