Thank goodness we now have electronic strips. Surely the world is safe for
democracy.

I remember when we had to write out each strip. I can recall New York
Center telling me we had eight inbounds to Colts Neck in the next five
minutes, ready to copy? And then the pencil I was using broke and I had to
find another one. Printed strips was an improvement in those days.

Not sure how electronic strips improve delays, but no matter.

Does this mean I have to find the strips I have in the basement and give
them back?

Reminds me of the time that a controller group evaluating a new radar
recommended color because they had color tv at home and why not.

I suppose if it were up to me we;d still be using shrimp boats and light
guns.

I'll take my nap now.
