I was told that FAA met with airlines this week to explain FAA's Brand New ATC System (BNATCS) Strategic Management of Airspace Routing Trajectories tool (SMART). Can anyone provide an update on what FAA said? I heard that FAA mentioned RTAs (Required Time of Arrival). Is this in reference to the RTA function on the aircraft Flight Management System or some other application?
