Hi Omar, You can see the allowable states of a loan and process flow in this part of the functional spec:
http://mifos.org/knowledge/functional-specs/loans#loan-account-state-flow By trying out the product, you will see that until a loan is disbursed to the client, you can cancel the loan using the 'Edit account status' link. Once a loan has been disbursed, you can use the 'undo loan disbursal' feature (being added in v1.1) to essentially remove/cancel a loan account that was created/disbursed incorrectly. I would encourage you to try out the product on the demo or test server to see how things work in addition to reading the functional specs. That will give you a better idea of the functionality available.
