Nazir - thanks for putting this thread back on the list. Much appreciated. I had the same question about how to turn on the feature and configure it :-)
Omar - I think the feature that you may be looking for is actually the Moratoriums feature. This feature allows you to suspect payments for a branch, center, group or client for a specified period of time to account for local circumstances (such as natural disasters or political situations) which prevent clients from making payments. The FS for this feature can be found here: http://mifos.org/developers/wiki/MoratoriumRequirements The patch for this feature is just undergoing the review and feedback process so the feature should be complete and checked in soon. Just watch out on the listserv for postings around this. So, you have to update a fresh version of Mifos code, deploy it and go to table CONFIG_KEY_VALUE_INTEGER to change value of: - repaymentSchedulesIndependentOfMeetingIsEnabled to "1" - minDaysBetweenDisbursalAndFirstRepaymentDay : To be determined (more infos in the feature spec) - maxDaysBetweenDisbursalAndFirstRepaymentDay : To be determined Thanks, - Nazir ________________________________ De : omar bilani [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Envoyé : mardi 11 décembre 2007 11:48 À : Nazir LAJDEL Objet : Fwd: [Mifos-developer] reschedule loan Implementation Yeah cool, please can you tell me what needs to be changed in the database in order to activate it? my code is almost 2 weeks old! do i need to update it or take a newer version!? ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Nazir LAJDEL <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Dec 11, 2007 12:30 PM Subject: Re: [Mifos-developer] reschedule loan Implementation To: Developer <[email protected]> Hi Omar, Yep. I worked on for a while and I already checked in this feature -- It depends of a configuration in the database (to activate it). ( Knowing that it's not yet been tested by ENDA Team). Please, feel free to contact me if you have any questions, ideas or comments for improvements in this area. If it's the case, please take a look at this: http://mifos.org/developers/wiki/LoanIndependentOfMeeting <http://mifos.org/developers/wiki/LoanIndependentOfMeeting> . Is that what you want? - Nazir ________________________________ De : [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ] De la part de omar bilani Envoyé : mardi 11 décembre 2007 09:40 À : Developer Objet : [Mifos-developer] reschedule loan Implementation Hi all, I was checking the list of changes that needs to be done in order to reschedule a loan. meaning push the loan's payments for a certain amount of months. During the last war here in lebanon, banks decided to push the loan's payments for 3 months, this feature might be helpful for us in MIFOS. I think that most of the change would be to change the installments dates in the table: LOAN_SCHEDULE by changing the ACTION_DATE we can reschedule the payments for a certain amount of time. Is this change enough for reschedule the loan's payments, any idea if other things needs to be changed?
