It's a real hassle to have to create your own test data (for exactly some of the reasons you note below). To the other developers on the list: is there a place to download sample data for testing purposes? Perhaps you can use an old db dump that was used on the test server. You'd have to upgrade it to the latest version and you'd want to use a much much earlier version (the recent DB has had some problems): ftp://build.mifos.org/ But again, others on the list will know better than I...
