Ideally, you would test in both (since all of your code should work in
both), but as Amy says, we are recommending IE 6+ for all of our
deployments (and this is usually what they feel comfortable with), so
this should be your default browser for testing.

Subject: [Mifos-developer] Testing your code--use Internet Explorer,not
Firefox

Hi, all. I wanted to put out a reminder because I have found a few bugs
where code works on Firefox but not IE. Please remember that you should
test on IE 7 or 6. I am aware of dev preferences, but IE is the most
widely used browser for our deployments. If you make a change or a fix
and perform quick tests, please use IE instead of FF.

Thanks!
