Hi Roberto, Thank you for the patch! Thank you for attaching it to the issue as well, as indicated by Aliya. Also note that--when you add the "Patch" keyword--it can coexist with other keywords like "IBM".
Unfortunately, the patch must be in unified diff format. After decompressing with gunzip I was able to view your attachment in Openoffice.org Writer. I appreciate the descriptive text describing in detail what you did and the documentation you provided, but please simply include any additional text describing your code changes in the body of your mailing list posting. Plain text is a concrete way to maintain transparency throughout our development process. The patch itself must contain your proposed changes to the Ant XML files and the README. As far as the Ant XML code you provided, we already have a suitable temporary workaround for the issue, and we don't need Ant targets that would prolong the need for the workaround. Please take another look at my comments on issue 1513 for more ideas on an acceptable implementation.
