        Subject: [Mifos-functional] Batch Processing

        Hello every one,

I do have a request to be added to listserv as a member and
receive regular mail (I am currently receiving a daily digest which I
want to change it to regular or individual updates).

In continuation of the question regarding the batch processing,
may I rephrase the question that

        1. How can I advanced the date in Mifos to make the system
run all the necessary batch files to calculate the future payments, fees
and penalties. This is mainly required if I want to test the system
behavior and calculation in different scenarios.

        2. To configure the system, It is required to update the
latest-data.sql and rebuild the data base. In the absence of a GUI UI,
That is a very systematic and organize approach. But, what is if I need
to change or add some parameter later on to the system where I don't
want to flush all my data. Adding it directly to the database will cause
confusion later on. Is there a way to modify and apply latest-data.sql
file without rebuilding the database and losing all the data.

I do thank you in advance.

        Regards,

        Hossein Zarrini
