Hi,
I start working on the story #69 "Move configuration
of default currency value from DB to config file." I
have a question about the display format of a double
to represent an amount of money. The format of the
double number is supposed to match the configured
locale or the configured currency?
For example: in the application configuration the
locale is French and the currency is DOLLAR. The
amount of max Loan will be displayed as:
1) 1.234,56 dollars Or
2) 1,234.56 dollars?
I think 1) is correct because now the default locale
for Mifos is english and the default currency is Rupee
and the display of a double matched the english
locale.
