Hi Amy,
Thanks for responding back. The redone loan account is not appearing with a
flag and am unable to see what is there in the loan details page as on
clicking the loan account an "Http error" is popping up. Now, let me come
back to my question. I was bothered about the fact that while redoing a
loan, the system does not validate whether the loan (which has been
disbursed to a wrong person) has been reversed or not.. In such a case
whether or not the flag appears, the validation does not take place.
Hope to hear from you on this.
Thanks & Best Regards,

Hi, Arpita. The requirement for this feature may fall under:
"Loan accounts which have been redone should be flagged with a tag
mentioning that it has been redone. This information could also be
mentioned on the loan details page."
http://mifos.org/developers/wiki/RedoingLoanDisbursals
If the flag is not present in the UI, I would assume this item is a bug.
No validation is specified in the requirements--for the rest of the
group--is the validation a missed requirement?

Subject: [Mifos-functional] Redoing a Loan
Hi,
With regard to the feature "Redo Loan", I noticed that while "redoing a
disbursal" the system is not validating whether the Loan in question has
already been reversed.
For instance, if an MFI discovers that instead of Mr. A the loan was
disbursed to Mr. B by mistake. Now, the MFI wants to reverse the loan
given
to B and redo the loan to A with effect from a past date. So, while
redoing
the loan to A, the system does not validate whether the loan to B has
already been reversed or not. So, in such a case, a possibility of
committing an error always remains wherein the loan to B remains active
even after redoing a loan to A.
Hope to get some help on this.
