Hi, This is in reference to issue # 1530. The issue sought for an enhancement to make search of clients possible with their ID for the purpose of Loan creation. I just thought of an alternative to solve the issue temporarily. The following steps could be undertaken to create a loan:
1. Type the Client ID on the search option in the home page of mifos. 2. Click on the client name that pops up. 3. Click on "Create Loan account" in the Client Information page. These alternative steps are very simple and might have occurred to some of you already. By following these steps we can make sure that we are disbursing loan to the right customer who shares the same name with some others.
