Happy New Year!
With regards to server backup of a production Mifos server -- can anyone
share any real-world data on how much disk space is consumed by a live Mifos
install? I realize the real numbers will likely vary from one MFI to
another, but an estimate is all I'm after. Perhaps the metric can be MB per
client per year, or MB per loan. The MFI for which I'm working has about
5,000 clients and averages 1 to 2 loans per client per year.
I hope to get an estimate of ongoing disk consumption to make sure we have
disk space on the server for at least two years without needing more space,
and also to budget the cost of online automated backups.
