Hi Soham, Emily Tucker may be able to answer your questions, as she has the most functional experience with Mifos, however I am just starting to research our declining balance interest and installment calculation functionality right now and do not yet understand things completely.
If Emily cannot answer these questions immediately, I will get back to you in the next week or so when I have had the chance to investigate things in more detail to understand your questions, the intended design of Mifos, and implemented design of Mifos better.
