I have resolved this bug, since the issue that the bug was referring to
indicated that loans could not be redone in the past, but based on
further comments in the bug, it seems this is no longer an issue. So
the bug is not reproducing any longer.
The comment in the bug about loans being moved directly into 'closed
status' referred to another bug that was opened, which turned out not to
be a bug. The situation was where a loan was redone in the past and the
status of the loan was marked as 'closed' after the loan was redone.
This is because all of the payments on the redone loan had already been
made.
If you have any questions about the Redo Loan feature (purpose, design,
behavior, etc) I'm happy to answer your questions for you over skype or
better yet, connect you with our testing team in Bangalore that is
working on testing this feature. Since they are on the same time zone
as you (and in the same city) it will be easy for them to connect with
you over the phone to describe the feature in more detail.
