Max,
thanks for proposing a solution. Suggestions about changing any functional
spec details should go to the functional list instead of developer list.
thanks,
Sam

Subject: [Mifos-developer] issue 1520 use case - Need ability to re-open a
closed client
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Hi all,
As Roberto as requested some time ago, we would like to have a list of
requirements for https://mifos.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=1520
In the issue there is this description:....
Here's a simple way we can address this issue:
(*) Remove the restriction that prevents a user from creating a new client
if a
matching client exists in closed status. [Note: the restriction should
remain
if a matching client is found in other statuses-- like active, pending
approval, etc]
(*) Instead, if a matching client is found in closed status-- display the
following warning in red text: (Text TBD).
Note, I've gotten Priscilla's buy-in on this approach. In VNext, we will
add
the ability to re-open a closed client.
There are some cases that we have found that would require a proper use
case. For example if a customer has a bad credit history, do we want to
allow reopening an account?
Can we discuss about it?
Regards,
Max
