Hi Chandi, I'm moving this discussion from the developer list to the functional list since it is sort of a functional question.
You're correct that the v1.0 FS does indicate there are limits to the number of custom fields that can be created. Emily - do you know why those limits existed in v1.0 (if they actually did exist in the implementation) and if they were removed intentionally? Chandi, regardless of the history on this, I think it's ok that there are no limits on the number of custom fields that can be created. This is actually an improvement over the design in the functional spec. You can probably modify your test cases to remove any cases about testing for those limits and I will put a note in that we need to change the functional spec for v1.1 to reflect the fact that there are no more limits on the number of custom fields that can be created.
