Today is the day when we had been planning to hit feature complete for v1.1.
There are a few things left to finish before we can honestly say we hit it:
* i18n -- new ETA is EOD 5/16
* just one more remaining functional area set (story 95)
* we had a hardware-related setback on this work
* in progress on this last story
* financial calculations improvements -- new ETA is EOD 5/21
* the stand-alone work is feature complete
* an unexpected number of unit test issues came up when integrating
* in progress on addressing these unit test cases
As a reminder, feature complete means that there may still be some bugs to
fix in various areas of the product, but all the final functionality is in
place for v1.1, so this will be a landmark milestone for the project.
On the overall v1.1 schedule, we are still on track for code-freeze on 6/30
and general availability 7/15, based on the amount of required work
remaining and progress so far.
