Hi Owoeye-
You do have the option to write new reports that go straight at the
database using SQL instead of using a scripted data source, and for
those reports you won't need Mifos installed. The reports that are in
Mifos v1.1 right now do require Mifos installed for the reason Amir
described.

Hi Owoeye,
MIFOS uses BIRT to generate reports in v1.1. The Datasources that BIRT
uses to generate reports are scripted data source which requires MIFOS
application to fetch the data.
So currently it is not possible to generate the reports without the
MIFOS application.
