Not sure if anyone responded to this email. Apologies if someone
already did (and for not responding sooner if you didn't yet get a
response).
Currently, there is no way to re-open a closed client account. This is
definitely something we want to do in the future. In the mean time,
specifically to address ENDA's need for this feature, we have
implemented a work-around which allows you to create a new client
account with the same information as the closed account. Initially
Mifos did not allow you to create two clients with the same name/DOB or
name/Government ID, but as of v1.1, you will simply be warned that the
account is a duplicate and prompted about whether you want to create the
new account or not.
It would be great if you could keep a running list of all of the
requirements for future enhancements that ENDA has during the
implementation process. The priorities on this list may change once
they use Mifos in production but it would be great to make sure we have
the list so that we can plan for future enhancements based on the
priorities of our customers.
