Kay Chau resolved MIFOS-2004.
-----------------------------
Resolution: Won't Fix
I am marking as won't fix, we recommend that LSIM is a trapdoor and they should
not be turning it on and off
> Repayment dates continue to fall on non-meeting days in a loan account
> created with LSIM, even after LSIM is turned "off"

> Hi,
> (I apologise in advance for the length of the description)
> Steps to repro:
> 1. Log into mifos DB. Go to "config_key_value_integer c" table.
> 2. Change the value from "0" to "1"
> against 'repaymentSchedulesIndependentOfMeetingIsEnabled'.
> 3. Start serever and Mifos application. Log into Mifos.
> 4. Find any active group/client and create a loan account.
> For example, pick up a group having weekly meeting on Tuesdays. While
> creating
> the loan account, give disbursal date as 16.06.2008 (Monday) and
> select "Thursday" as the repayment day every week. So, repayment starts from
> 19.06.2008
> 5. Submit the loan account and leave it in "Pending Approval" status.
> 6. Log out of Mifos. Stop server. Log into DB and disable "LSIM" by putting a
> value "0" against "repaymentSchedulesIndependentOfMeetingIsEnabled".
> 7. Start server and log into Mifos.Find the loan account created in above
> steps.
> 8. Now, click on "Edit Account Information" on the loan account page.
> 9. Note, the user can modify the disbursal date to future/current non-meeting
> date (Issue 1996).
> 10. When the user makes any change to the disbursal date, the repayment
> schedule also changes (in the way decribed in issue 1999). However, the dates
> keep falling on non-meeting day selected as repayment day while creating the
> loan account.
> For example, in the above case, if the user changes the disbursal date from
> 16.06.2008 to 17.06.2008, the repayment schedule will change and the first
> installment would now start from 26.06.2008 (thursday- which is a non-meeting
> day).
> Expected: when LSIM is turned "off", the system should not allow the
> repayment
> schedule to have repayments on non-meeting days. The changes in the repayment
> schedule should be such so that the future repayments fall on meeting days
> (i.e, Tuesdays in this case).
> I think this issue depends on 1990 which deals with the absence of UI to
> modify
> the repayment schedule.
