Sam Birney commented on MIFOS-2634:
-----------------------------------

We discovered yesterday that now with GLIM loans, when the purpose is not
mandatory and left unselected for the individuals in the loan, there is an
error raised when trying to submit an edit to the loan. The error mentions a
primary key violation of pk_loan_bus_activities "cannot update or delete child
row". When we set a purpose of loan for each individual we were then able to
edit other fields and submit.

> this bug has two error cases, the second being more severe:
> with GLIM enabled:
> 1. configure "purpose of loan" to be not mandatory
> 2. see that it is correctly not mandatory for individual client loans
> 3. see that it is still mandatory for each client in GLIM group loans
> or
> 1. configure "purpose of loan" to be mandatory
> 2. see that it is correctly mandatory for individual client loans
> 3. see that it is impossible to make a GLIM group loan, because even when a
> purpose is selected for every client the page still returns the error
> message: "please select a purpose of loan".
