To reproduce this bug do the following steps:
-Enter a payment for a specific loan
-specify a receipt number
-do not enter the Receipt date
-Review & submit
-execute this query: 'select * from account_payment where account_id=(your
account_id)'
==> the receipt_id field is null
This bug appeared with mifos 1.4.x
