A design issue that surfaced during this task is that NSDU has been implemented
in such a way that the developer does not update the applied_upgrades table
manually but this is done automatically by DatabaseMigrator. This becomes a
little bit of a problem when comparing the upgraded database (from checkpoint)
and the latest database. The applied upgrades table needs to be removed from
the upgraded database for comparison.
