Stanley Kwok commented on MIFOS-2919:
-------------------------------------
The error message is built using messages defined in
ProductDefinitionResources.properties and UIResources.properties. The text "Got
exception when converting the string to double" comes from
UIResources.properties under "CONVERSION_ERROR". I think it is better to change
CONVERSION_ERROR to something more user-friendly like "string conversion
error". Here is what the resulting error message would look like "The min loan
amount format Same for all loans is invalid because string conversion error."
> Get invalid exeption message when entering decimal for loan product amounts

> So on Add a new Loan product page, I entered a fullstop (period) and got this
> message after clicking on preview:
> The min loan amount format Same for all loans is invalid because Got
> exception when converting the string to double.
> The max loan amount format Same for all loans is invalid because Got
> exception when converting the string to double.
> The default loan amount format Same for all loans is invalid because Got
> exception when converting the string to double.
> I'm sorry I do not understand 'Got exception when converting the string to
> double.'
