keithwoodlock reassigned MIFOS-1911:
------------------------------------

    Assignee: Kay Chau (was: keithwoodlock)

Doesnt look like dormancy is implemented in application at all for savings
accounts? I mean its value can be configured but I don't see the batch job or
any other process that actually sets account states to 'in active' when
dormancy value is reached.

> Status of Savings Account does not change to inactive depending on the
> "Dormancy definition" set for Savings Accounts

> Hi,
> Steps to repro:
> 1. Log into Mifos.
> 2. Find a client/group/center. Click on "Open new account:Savings" and create
> a
> savings account for a client/group/center.
> 3. Now, on the Savings Account details page, click on "Edit Account Status"
> and
> change the status to "Active".
> 4. Next click on Admin. Click on "View Lateness/Dormancy Definition".
> 5. Check the no. of days set as "Dormancy Definition" for Savings Accounts.
> For example, say the no. of days specified as dormancy period is 5 days, then
> after creating the savings account (as mentioned above), log out of Mifos and
> take the system date to 5 days in future. Run the batch jobs once.
> 6. Start the application and log into Mifos. Find the savings account created
> above.
> Expected: the status of the savings account should be changed to "on hold".
> Actual: the status remains "Active"
