Using the database dump attached by kojo i did the following:
1. moved system date to Dec 1st, 2010 so batch job will correctly pick up
savings account based on next interest posting date.
2. selected SavingsIntPostingTaskJob from admin->batch jobs and clicked button
to run selected tasks
I described the results I saw on IRC:
kgambrah, the batch job kicked off fine (starting from last run date which for
me was 11 nov) and 'caught up' to system date of '01/12/2010' which resulted in
account 209 being picked up and interest calculated (for each day in november
after first payment) and posted on 30/11/2010, the amount was 42.9 which might
be wrong, seems high although interest rate is 40%
