Description:
In Mifos we have two tables ACCOUNT_ACTION(AA) and FINANCIAL_ACTION (FA).
SELECT * FROM account_action a join lookup_value l on l.lookup_id=a.lookup_id;
(20 actions)
SELECT * FROM financial_action a join lookup_value l on
l.lookup_id=a.lookup_id; (23 actions)
FA has 3 more actions than AA, all the three are savings adjustment related
(VolunteerWithdrawalAdjustment, MandatoryWithdrawalAdjustment,
VolunteerDepositAdjustment, MandatoryDepositAdjustment)
AA has only one action related to Savings Adjustment.
We can not differentiate between "Withdrawal Adjustment"(WA) and "Deposit
Adjustment"(DA) in account_trxn table based on account_action as all the
savings adjustment gets same account_action value. The code also detects DA/WA
on account_trxn doing some back tracking and to see what was the last
transaction.
We can/should completely drop account_action and replace it with
financial_action where ever it's required.
