Description:
* cut new branch off 1.7.x called e-release
* rename jobs w/"1.7.x" to "e-release" in hudson
* modify release name in application/pom.xml

* cut new branch off 1.7.x called 2.0.x
* rename jobs w/"1.7.x" to "2.0.x" in hudson
* modify release name in application/pom.xml
We chose "e-release" instead of "2.0.x" so it can remain independent of version
numbers for software cut from the branch, and set a precedent for future
release maintenance branches.
