According to
https://cwiki.apache.org/MAVEN/maven-3x-plugin-compatibility-matrix.html,
findbugs-maven-plugin version must be at least 2.3 for Maven 3.
Udai fixed this in commit 03f99fe0f6a3d628e2d876b20c952e2cab47de55 in a serious
of modules, but to avoid any future problems, may be this would be the
opportunity to fix this in the parent/root pom.xml via
http://maven.apache.org/pom.html#Plugin_Management ?
