jspc and yuicompressor

We'll need to have a closer second look at, at least, the jspc and
yuicompressor.
The application/pom.xml, which used to but now no longer is a WAR, and has the
*.jsp & *.js in src\main\resources\META-INF\resources instead of
src/main/webapp.
What did the jspc do - just validate the compilation, or actually include the
pre-compile class files? If it's validation only, that still works (I've added
the necessary configuration for it to find them in pom.xml).
What did the yuicompressor do? Actually include the compressed JS? I broke
that - note now "nb warnings: 0, nb errors: 0".
BTW: What about *.js (potentially) in other "modules" ?
