I have found that by simply removing the ECLIPSEF.SF & ECLIPSEF.RSA JAR Signing
stuff from some of those plugins that come with BIRT, this is solved. When I
say 'solved' I mean that the formerly failing 34 tests in the application
module pass. I haven't taken the time to build a WAR and deploy it to Tomcat,
but strongly suspect it will also work - may be Keith or Stanley can confirm.
I did test in the Workspace (Eclipse, no WAR) that the Reports tab appears to
still work (as before, not extensively tested, but "Parameter" shows up so BIRT
with it's embedded OSGi container clearly started - it doesn't care whether
those JARs are signed).
