transaction history total inconsistent with repayment schedule on completed loan
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: MIFOS-4659
URL: http://mifosforge.jira.com/browse/MIFOS-4659
Project: mifos
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: Elsie F
Reporter: jbrewster
Priority: Major
(believe this is a long standing issue, not new to F release.)
The payments logged on transaction history don't sum up to the loan amount. In
the following case, the loan is 1000 and the transaction history amounts
applied to principal add up to 1000.4 on the transaction history page.
Specifically, the last payment appears as "83.0" on transaction history, where
on repayment schedule, this payment is "82.6".
Repro:
1. login to F test server: http://ci.mifos.org:8120/mifos
2. search for loan # null00000000485
3. view Repayment Schedule (see attached)
4. view transaction history (see attached)
Expected: transaction history to show 11 payments of principal of 83.4 and one
of 82.6.
actual: transaction history shows 11 payments of principal of 83.4 and one of
83.
another example from Jakub:
- if you use acceptance_small_003_dbunit.xml
- try to redo loan for "MyGroup1233266255641"
- using "WeeklyGroupFlatLoanWithOnetimeFee" loan product
- choose 3 installments
- using date 07.01.2010
then your original loan is 4008.0, status is "closed-obligation met", there are
3 payments: 1996.0, 1006.0 and 1006.0, so everything is consistent up to this
point. However, if you sum up Debit / Credit from the transaction history page,
then you will receive 4009.1
