Keith,
This is probably something I'll need to do more research on as I've only done
some tinkering around with the Facebook Social plugins and looked at Drupal
Modules for Facebook.
Trying to provide a more community-driven self-guided tool to share updates and
news with fellow community members, I think Facebook has some good potential.
With growth in Africa of FB doubling each month, even more of an opportunity to
use Facebook as a community and outreach tool.
I've added one of the Facebook Social Plugin Like boxes on
http://mifos.org/community.
What I would like to do is to allow people to share pages via Facebook just as
they do via TweetMeme - could we try installing Facebook Share module:
http://drupal.org/project/facebookshare
I might also want to consider what it would look like for us to use Facebook
Connect module to allow people to create an account on mifos.org. That might be
going too far right now and I still need to think about what impact that would
have on user profiles.

Especially for newslog posts and perhaps other more story type content I wanted
to give people the option to tweet the page. I've been impressed with the look
and feel and usability of TweetMeme on other sides - can we add this module?
