Ad-Hoc reporting needed, or new reports through Pentaho (client transaction
summary/loan tracker)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: MIFOSBI-321
                 URL: http://mifosforge.jira.com/browse/MIFOSBI-321
             Project: mifos business intelligence
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: Reports
         Environment: Windows 7, Pentaho
            Reporter: Rebecca Herrington
            Priority: Critical

My organization currently uses parallel IS solutions in order to manipulate the
data as we need for reports. We would like to rely on Mifos and an ad-hoc
reporting tool would greatly facilitate this. If we could pull historical
information for one client, or all data for one field listed on a client page,
then we would be able to rely more heavily on Mifos in order to perform daily
functions through reporting. Otherwise, we are looking at minimum for a client
transaction report (much like a bank statement) and a loan tracking report.
These reports would both be needed to pull specific client history, not bulk or
cumulative data. They would need to display; client name, government ID, group
name, time period (starting on this date, ending on this date), receipts, type
of transaction, amount and a total balance at the end date of the report. These
two reports would help us run operations much more smoothly.
