George Lteif commented on MIFOS-5178:
-------------------------------------
Hi Adam,
Just a suggestion, why not use the first 10 account digits to be sent to the
bank?
for ex: 000100000169688 is an example Mifos global account ID
but if you check the account table, the account_id field is only 169688.
send your bank 0000169688 only which is the first 10 digits from the left. As
you know the account ID is uniquely generated in Mifos. The first part of the
global_account_num indicates the branch Id.
I work with Al Majmoua,Lebanon, and we work with banks, we only send the first
7 digits to banks.
And for our staff we created reports that convert the account_id to the full
global_account_num for them to use it for working inside Mifos
Hope this would help a little
