It's trying to create file under /imageStore/permissionCheck which is failing
due to permission on file system.
Are you sure you don't have MIFOS_CONF configured at all?
Can you attach the complete startup log which includes information that will
help me to track down why mifos is trying to create /imageStore/permissionCheck
test.
