Primary objective of LSIM feature is to de-couple loans and disbursements with
meeting dates.... towards this we found there are some enhancements required in
Loan creation & Disburse Loan screen.
Loan disbursement date will be set as Next immediate meeting date for the
customers. This works fine for customers with weekly schedules because the
loans & disbursement are done on the meeting date. But in the case of Monthly &
other period installments the loan creation & disbursement will not be aligned
with meeting dates. So, LSIM when enabled should de-couple the meeting dates
from the Loan creation & disbursement.
We have taken-up changes to loan creation & Loan disbursement screens to set
the system date as default in disbursement date column when LSIM is ON. This
change is required since we have taken-up the enhancement of MIFOS-5193 ticket.
With this changes we believe now the LSIM feature can be used without any
hesitation.
