A sample mobile app that ran on
Android
Iphone
or a mixture of / any mobile devices would be very nice to see.
It could just login and display a list of offices. We would upload the example app into our mifosx-community-apps github project.

Technical note:
Whilst not a requirement would be interested in seeing this implemented using web standards like HTML5, CSS3 & _javascript_ through something like phonegap (http://phonegap.com/) or similar

I think we're most interested in 'something mobile' that uses the api
so I believe we'd be more than happy with a mobile website as you
suggest. Of course we're not expecting full functionality in one day
but if the basics of logging on and listing clients were possible it
would be a fantastic reference for others to build upon (we'd probably
put it in our mifosx-community-apps github location).

subsequent discussion talked about situations where there wasn't always full connectivity and there was a need for off-line functionality... Phonegap was mentioned as possibly the best option.... As mentioned before ,we're happy for that approach... There isn't an end-user just yet but it would be great to have the 'scaffolding' for that too.
