A couple of deviations during implementation
1) Client name concatenation is done as concat_ws(' ',firstname,lastname) to maintain consistency with client name display in other screens.(different from the format used for staff which is probably not the right implementation. In countries like India, it is quite common to not have last names)
2)As a sql query sub-string is passed in the URL as a query param, a couple of specific URL's seem to get garbled. I encountered this issue with '%af%' which seems to be passed fine from the browser (verified from firebug and tamperdata) but garbled special characters are being received in the java resource. Am yet to figure out a workaround/fix for the same.
