I found that Mifos master does not build with Java 7, and will contribute fixes to make that possible - please see sub tasks for individual issues, and solutions.

This Improvement issue is only about BUIDLING Mifos (from src to WAR), for developers. How well Mifos actually RUNS under Java 7 is technically an entirely separate question.. of course in theory it should out of the box,
