Currently when any backdated transactions are created which affects other loan transactions in the future, The future transactions are edited (fee paid, interest paid etc).
This makes it difficult to understand the sequence of events that lead to generating of many duplicate accounting entries for a single transaction.
For trace-ability, it would probably be better not to edit the amounts of a loan transaction once they are created. Instead, reverse the original transaction and create a new transaction with the appropriate date so that the same also gets reflected in accounting
