Theres a number of characteristics that musoni are looking for from a savings product.
The following will be provided in first pass through basic savings product implementation.
1.
Ability to
create
new
, read, update, delete
savings
product
products and savings accounts.
- interest rate for
Minimal information collected about
savings
product/
account
for now such as:
- interestCalculated daily
currency & decimal places to support
on
daily balance OR
monetary amounts for product
interest rate
interest rate period
(
post daily?
e.g. per year
)
- interestCalculated on average balance on daily/weekly/monthly
and some settings such as
Minimum Opening Balances
- Enable MFI to set a minimum
min required
opening balance
where an account will not allowed to be opened unless a minimum initial deposit is made
Lock-in-
lockin frequency and
period
(no withdrawals allowed)
type e.g. lockin for 6 months
- Enable MFI to block withdrawals
Details
on
certain savings accounts (based on time since account opened)
interest rate calculation will be added under seperate issue
Support for deposits and withdrawals will be added under seperate issue

get shell of savings api in place with documentation so wont be blocker
